College 4 The Real Girl Annual Conference

Event Description: For our Third Annual Leadership and College Readiness Conference, titled "College 4 the Real Girl" our focus is on college readiness experiences, touring college campuses,  empowerment, professional development, and real-life conversations.

Prerequisites: There are NO prerequisites required.  Our priority is to serve high school girls (ages 14-18) preparing for college. We encourage you to bring your pens and notebooks, excitement, and curiosity! And we hope that you'll attend all of the conference events. 

If you are applying to the College for the Real Girl Book Scholarship, in order to qualify attendance on all three days is required. 

Objectives:

• Experience an exclusive college tour of a Historically Black College & University that has been around for over 157 years.
• Lunch and dining with the Campus Royal Court. This is your opportunity to mingle with the Kings and Queens of the respective schools you will be touring.
• Gain exposure to industry leaders and professionals who can help you prepare for the transition from high school to college and give you applicable tips -- like Dressing for Success!
• Engage in a discussion featuring real-life topics outside of professionalism and academics with college graduates and Alumni.
• Consider ways that we can maintain and develop our faith within communities on college campuses.
• We don't want to give away all of our sauce, so be sure to register for so many more surprises and goodies!
