College 4 The Real Girl

Event Description: For our Second Annual Leadership Conference, titled "College 4 the Real Girl" our focus is on college readiness, empowerment, professional development, and real life conversations. 

Prerequisites: No prerequisites required.  While our priority is to serve higschool girls (ages 14-18) preparing for college, we encourage you to bring your pens and notebooks, excitement and curiousity! And we hope that you'll attend all of the four events My HBCU 101, Major Keys 201, What A Time 301, and Holy Ground 401. 

Objectives: 

• Experience an exclusive college tour or a Historically Black College & University that has been around for over 157 years. 
• Gain exposure to industry leaders and professionals who can help you prepare for the transition from highschool to college and give you applicable tips.
• Engage in a discussion featuring real life topics outside of professionalism and academics with college graduates and Alumni.
• Consider ways that we can maintain and develop our faith within communities on college campuses.
